Hey friends, Spring training is in full swing and the teams are back and playing
again for fans. I've been at Bright House Networks Field to see my
old team in action and I - like many other Phillies fans - are looking
forward to a great season.
There's something else that I'm excited about and that's the
Darren Daulton Baseball Camp and Talent Showcase set for
August, 2008. I have joined with some great people from Elite
Camp Services of Toms River, New Jersey, to create a baseball
instruction camp for young players in grades 1 through 12.
When I was growing up and playing baseball, my future success
was made possible by coaches and instructors who taught me
the basics and how to use them effectively. Now I want to do that
for the future all-stars so I'll be in camp as an instructor and I've
invited some of my former teammates to join me. (Watch for the
announcement of who will be there soon!)
